Bad News...This is bad news. I mean BAD news. Taiwan's researchers pointed out in today's papers that the next earthquake and tsunami may hit Taiwan. That's gonna suck. Estimated death toll is 5 million. That's more than Singapore's population. Damn. May it doesn't mean that much to you, but just imagine your 5566, Energy, Jay, Jolin and other stars gone. Now do you sense the seriousness of it?
Sigh... What is the world turning into?
End...

mei here, write first in case i forgot again.
after the tsunami disaster in asia, almost everywhere else is predicting when and where the next one will be. australia's researchers have found one just to the west of new zealand. earthquake will happen once in every 500 years and it just so happened that it has been about 500 years since there's an earthquake there. austrlia's east coast is about as far from the epicentre as sri lanka is from the indonesia one. think sydney's opera house will be gone when it happened. the next mass extinctino on earth is happening very soon. that's what the world's turning too. if you want, i can give you the statistics

paiseh, accidentally clicked on "publish your comment". the human population is now standing at 6.1 billion (?), we have been growing exponentially. the no. of birds species have dropped by 12%, if that's bad, pity those amphibians, the no. of species have dropped by 30%. the mass extinction that wiped out dinosaurs had a drop of ~75% of the no. of species of sth (total no. of species of organisms on earth???) which i can't remember from my bio-evolution lecture. actually i've written in my blog that i think we, as humans, have done more damaged to the earth than any other animals on this planet. the planet's bound to 'die' one day... maybe if she tries to do something major such as finishing off humans, she'll get another few years to live. dunno. at least she may get a chance to restart life on earth. dunno. i'm no expert in this area.
