Blogging For Females Only...?I came across a local online forum a few weeks ago and this girl started a poll to see if it was appropriate for guys to blog. What the hell? What's wrong with guys blogging?
Apparently, the girl thought that it was kinda 'gay' for a guy to blog, but what made her think so? Maybe because her guy friends all have blogs that are pink and have words like "I think I have PMS" or "I'm having a bad hair day so I'm not going out". Or maybe she thinks that guys blog like her, talking about nothing but BGR crap.
Personally, I think there's absolutely nothing wrong with guys blogging. Does anyone of you think I'm gay or kinda 'gay' just because I blog? I see blogging as a channel to vent frustrations and voice out crude, rude and politically-incorrect thoughts. It's my domain. I can curse and swear at anyone, for example, my sergeants, here, which is something I cannot do in their faces. I can voice out my unhappiness with government policies, undermine the intelligence of Matt Damon, Albert Einstein, or even Lee K*** Y**.
I believe guys' blogs are way more interesting than gals'. At least mine is. I have to admit that I occasionally go mushy and declare my love for Jen all over my blog but that doesn't happen all the time, right? Compared to a gal's blog which consists of nothing but BGR, her daily routine from waking up to sleeping, BGR, what she had for lunch and dinner, BGR, how much she loves a particular guy, BGR, how she can't sleep without missing another guy and more BGR, I think my blog is so much better off. At least there's entertainment value in my blog and readers will (sometimes) laugh at the things I write.
So to those who thinks that guys should not blog, I hope I can change your mind. And to the girl from the forum, I hope Fate possesses her 'Next Blog' button so that she can read this post and wake up her idea instead of setting up polls regarding such a stupid matter, which led to me writing a post on it.
End...
