I'm Home...

I'm at home now when I should be in camp. Well, I have to be back in Tekong by tonight, but my instructor let me off at 12.30Pm, so I figured I might as well come home for a while since my house is so fucking near OCS.

Anyway, there wasn't anything to do in OCS. I got into one of the toughest wing there, Delta Wing. Everyone there will just shake their head and wish you good luck when they know you are from Delta. However, the whole wing went for an outfield exercise the day we entered, so the 8 of us that got there just kept on cleaning the bunk and do nothing else. They had a few runs though, which I can't participate due to the fact that I'm on medication. My fever has become better, but my blocked nose and cough ain't recovering. My rashes also show no signs of healing. I need to get calomine lotion soon.

Did a total of 32 pull-ups and 60 push-ups this morning. It's considered light. No wonder people say it's tough to be in Delta Wing. We have to fucking wake up at 5AM to do exercises while other wings wake at 6AM and go for breakfast immediately.

My morale is damn low there. I'm staying in a temporary bunk which I have to clean 3 times a day, and I cannot unpack my things. There's no one around who I can get more information from. My physical condition doesn't allow me to exercise much, making someone who's a company best look like a weak tiger. Fuck. It's strict there. We can't use our phones outside our admin time without permission. And I miss Jen like crazy. I must be a bad boyfriend, only missing her a lot when I'm feeling down. But she's working, and always working overtime, so I can't call her, not even during my admin time.

I never thought I'd say this, but I miss SISPEC. Life's more relaxed there, though I still don't like Tekong. If Tekong is the Island of a Million Big Bugs, then OCS is the School of a Million Small Bugs. There's an equal number of bugs flying around in OCS compared to SISPEC, but because they are smaller, they are harder to catch, and you get bitten more, especially by mosquitoes.
