Last Week...

I'll be finishing my BSLC very soon. Finished Exercise Nutcracker. It rained for 2 consecutive nights. Both thunderstorms started at 4.45AM exactly. Sucks. Got ourselves totally drenched, with fucking mud all over ourselves. My buddy, Rauf, almost got hypothermia because he slept in the rain without a jacket or shelter. Nonetheless, everything went quite well and we pulled through it.

We came back on Thursday. Had some kind of Happy Hour at the SISPEC Rocky Hill Mess. Nice place with karaoke and a pool table. Had a few drinks and sang a few songs before I went to wash my dirty stuffs till amost midnight. Woke up late on Friday, only to realise I'm still the LSM. Got scolded by a female sergeant because the LSM is supposed to wake up earlier than anyone else. Totally sick and tired, I told her I quit being the LSM. A trainee is supposed to hold the LSM appointment for a maximum of 3 days. But I had been the LSM for 8 fucking days. I had to report sick due to sandfly bites and rashed all over my body anyway, so I quit.

Went to report sick while everyone else was doing their 16km route march and got excused from wearing the green goddamn uniform for 7 days, which effectively means I won't be wearing the uniform all the way until I pass out from SISPEC. Howver, I got sick when I came back from the medical centre. Fucking fever. 39 degrees Celsius. Brought the fever home and saw a doctor. I'm all right now.
