Wasted A Week Of My Life...

It's been really long since I last wrote anything. The last post was half a month ago. Damn. It sure is tough being an NSF. Well, not really.

I wasted a whole week in camp. Basically, the whole week required us to go to our bunk and do some area cleaning, also known as sleep. We only had a few lectures and the IPPT test on Saturday. The rest of the time's our free time. We ended everyday before 7PM. Crap.

Anyway, during my free time, I finished 2 books. Inconcievable and Wrong about Japan. Inconcievable, as the title suggests, is a funny book about a couple's infertility. It's a very interesting book, although I must stress that I do not have any problems in the reproduction department, or so I think...

The other book is a travelogue. It's about this father and son who went to Japan to find out more about their manga and anime culture. It's a very informative book. I found out that Astro Boy was created in 1951 and the year he was said to be created was 2003. He is what the author visualise will be created as we enter the new millenium. Well, the fact that we don't see no kid robot sporting spiky hair and rocket boots kinda proved him wrong. Also, I found out that Godzilla is actually a symbol of the aftermath of the atomic bombs drop in Japan. Godzilla is a lizard hit by radiation in a nuclear plant, thus it mutated into such a big size. It later terrorises Japan. See the idea there?

Enough said about the books I read. I have other things to do. Hope the following week will be a more fulfilling week in camp.
