Shameless Singaporeans...It's a known fact that Singaporeans are 'kiasu', inconsiderate, shameless and impolite. We all know that and we don't deny it, but what I saw yesterday and this morning appalled me so much that it irks me to know I'm of the same nationality as those people.
What happened yesterday? I was on the train, on my way home after work. I hopped on at City Hall Interchange and got myself a seat. At Raffles Place Interchange, a pregnant lady boarded the train. As we have all been taught but have not being practising, we should give our seats up to those who needs the seat more than us. Is it not clear enough that the lady needed the seat more than those normal teenagers?
Anyway, seeing that fucked-up Singaporeans will do almost anything to hold on to their seats, I gave up my seat for the pregnant lady. I stood up, walked towards the lady, and offered her my seat. What happened next made me think real deep about our education system. As the pregnant lady was walking towards the seat I offered her, a secondary school girl walked up and sat down as though she is rightfully entitled to it, as though SHE is the pregnant one here. What the fuck? The girl sat down, looked up at me and the pregnant lady, then lowered her head to start sending SMS as though she didn't see us. No remorse. No guilt.
What the fuck is wrong with the world? A secondary school girl actually did that? I really cannot believe it. We all know the older generation tend to be a very inconsiderate as we always see those 'uncles' and 'aunties' barging into trains and buses with no thought for others, but a school girl? That is the result of the older generation teaching the younger generation the wrong stuff.
It's a vicious cycle. They preach something and do a totally different thing. Parents will tell kids to queue up and shit like that but they don't practise it, and the kids learn from their examples. Now we are sowing the seeds of the previous generation's selfishness. It's fucked-up. I call that totally shameless. Competing with a pregnant lady for a seat on the train? How low can we get?
I heard from friends that things like that are not uncommon, but it's the first time I see it so to me, it's really a big thing. And if things like this occurs often then I really fear for our future.
Anyway, someone else on the train, probably encouraged by me, gave her seat up for the pregnant lady. This time, the lady got her seat.
This morning, when I was taking a bus to work, I saw another case of a very shameless Singaporean. The bus was rather crowded. I boarded the bus and tried to move into the back to make more space for others to board. Near the entrance of the bus, I was blocked by this 'auntie' wearing a blue blouse. She was watching the TVMobile shit and she probably thought she got a damn good spot because she simply refused to budge. Behind her, there was space to probably fit 3 Moses Lim. Irritated by her inconsiderate action, I pushed my way past her to the back of the bus. She gave me an irritated look. I gave her one too. After I walked past her, she still didn't move. And passengers at the entrance were squashed and hardly had space to breathe.
The 'auntie' took a look at the people trying to get onto the bus, her eyes laughing at them, probably telling them they deserved it, then took a small step back and continued watching the TV. Like the schoolgirl, no remorse, no guilt. By now I was really angry and I was staring at her. She saw me and ignored me. I didn't want to cause a commotion so I just kept silent.
When the bus reached the bus interchange, Mdm Shameless pushed her way past everyone and made sure she was the first one to alight the bus.
It really boils my blood when I see all these fucked-up Singaporeans. I really feel like punching them so hard in their faces that they fucking swallow their fucking teeth. The fucked-up schoolgirl was probably the product of the fucked-up 'auntie'. The schoolgirl's mother is most likely someone like the bitch in blue blouse and the girl will grow up to teach her kids what she practised. It's a fucking vicious cycle I say. Fucking vicious cycle.
That is why I wanna say this to all shameless dogs out there, "FUCK YOU SHAMELESS MOTHERFUCKERS!!!"
End...

Same thing happened when I gave up my seat to an elderly woman and this auntie went to seat down. I simply said out loud to her that I am giving out the seat for the elderly woman...the auntie then stood up and walked away....
