Broke...I ended my work in NUS Business School 2 weeks ago and haven't found a job since. It's hard finding a good part time job that's flexible and pays well.
To make things worse, my laptop and mobile phone are damaged. I need to replace them but I'm too damn broke to do so. School's starting soon and I seriously need my laptop to work. The textbooks are gonna cost a bomb too. Damn. I need to figure a way to get the money.

There are a few things I don't really get in this world, and one thing is the trend of things becoming smaller or lesser while their prices increase.
No, I'm not talking about the Fillet-O-Fish shrinking subtly while the price of it get gets jacked up not-so-subtly. I'm talking about things more ridiculous than that.
I'm talking things like Pepsi Max and Coke Zero. Seriously, they sell more than the original versions, which makes no sense to me. We pay more to get them to NOT add sugar? Why? Without the sugar, the cost would be lower so why are those drinks selling for more? What the fuck's that about? It's like telling consumers that, "Hey, we want people who drink our shit to be healthier and we wanna be socially responsible too, so pay up so that we can make the world a better place!"
Haven't anyone thought that it's strange? People just willingly pay more for the 'healthier' choice. To make matters worse, those shit taste really bad. Why would anyone drink them? Why?
All these complaining is making me thirsty. I'll end here and go have a can of good old normal Coke that tastes better and is cheaper than the shit with no sugar.

it's actually more expensive to produce coke without sugar due to the ingredients required to come up with the taste of coke.

His Memorial...I stayed up all night to catch Michael Jackson's memorial live. I'm thankful for Channel 5 showing it.
I was never a huge fan of Michael Jackson, but I do listen to his music. My favourite song of his is 'You are not alone'. Recently, I'm addicted to 'Billie Jean'.
I watched a video of him on Youtube recently, and I thought his legs were crazy. His moves were so slick, even 20 years later.
I fondly remember owning a Sega MegaDrive game called Moonwalker. It features Michael Jackson, together with Bubbles, going around and defeating thugs with his dance moves. At that time, I was still a young kid with no idea how huge he was. Sure, I knew who Michael Jackson was, but I seriously had no idea that he was such a superstar, being brought up in a Chinese speaking family. It's a shame, but after so many years, it was until after his death that I realized that the game was re-enacting scenes from the 'Smooth Criminal' music video.
Like I said, I'm no big fan and I'm no journalist, but I will provide my own little tribute here to one of the greatest people who ever lived.
Michael Jackson was a brilliant entertainer. They were not exaggerating when they called him 'The greatest artiste ever'. He changed generations. He started young, thus he touched many lives, young and old. One of the guests said that he raised the bar, and then broke it. I could not agree more.
Even today, perfomers and dancers are greatly influenced by him. His moves have been imitated countless times, and will continue to be imitated. It's just a pity that future generations will never be able to see, with their own eyes, this powerful performer. He was preparing to make a comeback, to show the world his brilliance, but he died trying.
His life was not without controversies, but you just have to look beyond those things to see a person who loved to perform, who loved to give. People continue to bash him, even after his death, but like the congresswoman said, no one is guilty until proven otherwise, and as far as the law was concerned, he's innocent. His private life was scrutinized closely, so much that his brother wished that he would be left alone now that he's gone.
As I sat there watching the memorial, I can't help but wonder, what if those accusations were a move to destroy his illustrious career? What if he really did have a condition that made his skin pale? What if all the accusations were false? Would the world be different today? I believe it would, at the very leasy for him.
Yes, his features changed over the years, but look past the crooked nose and chin dimple, and see the revolution he brought to the world through his performances and his efforts to help the world. Every death should be mourned, but it's extremely pitiful when one who changed the world so much and had the power to continue doing so passed on. Just take a look at the distinguished guests who were there to celebrate his life and salute his death, and listen to their eulogies at the memorial and you would know that he was not a mere man. He was a great son, a great father, a great brother and a great man. He's the greatest artiste who ever lived and a true legend. He is... The King of Pop...

3 Random Thought...I have 3 random thoughts right this moment.
Why are music conductors so strange?
Have you noticed that the movement of music conductors are kinda strange? They are either moving their bodies in a rather homosexual way, or in a rigid, break-dancing kinda way. Why?
Why do youngsters feel obliged to share the music they are listening with the whole train?
Youngsters nowadays are mostly blasting the music in their phones loudly on trains. What made them think that other people want to hear their music? Do they not know that it's annoying?
Why do people produce 1-ply toilet paper?
Why the fuck do 1-ply toilet paper exists? Who the fuck produces them? Do they not know that it's the most useless thing in the world? It tears before it comes out of the roll. It's so thin and fragile and you might as well use your hands to wipe your bare ass. And if you want to stack a few peices together to make it thicker, it'll take forever to make a decent piece. It'll only take half the time to stack one up with a 2-ply roll. Serious, the people producing 1-ply paper should be jailed and caned for causing such inconvenience and unleashing such useless shit on people.

He's been dead for over a week. It's sudden. It's sad. I've never been a huge fan, but I do like his music and performances. His personal life aside, no one can deny that he is an excellent performer, a brilliant artiste and a powerful entertainer.
His songs produced truckloads of classics and changed many generations. His videos and dance moves are still mesmerizing. His monkey, Bubbles, was so cute. His comeback concerts were highly anticipated. Everything happened so suddenly and early.
I can only lament that the future generations will never see the brilliance that is Michael Jackson. Rest in peace, Michael.

My last semester was not a good one. My results sucked due to problems in my life. I got a C for almost everything, pulling my CAP down by a hell lot. Damn. I only have 2 semesters to change things. Can I do that?

I hate regrets. When you have regrets, it usually means that you did something wrong, or failed to do something you should have done. That's why I think about my actions carefully and after the action is taken, I stick by my decision to take it, because I don't wanna regret.

It's been too damn long since I last wrote anything. A lot has happened these days. As most of you know, there was some seriously fucked-up shit between me and Angela. For those who know, good for you. For those who don't, you either are not paying attention or are not priviledged enough to know.
